We still don't know exactly what it is caused by. If it's due to an early extraterrestial attack on Sim City, a curse or hemispherical influence. Fact is that after spending a while in Sim City something forces a specific gen, we call it the 'P'-gen to produce the blue body liquid. We know it's not dangerous and it does not harm any other body functions. The yellow P drug we developed directly manipulates the 'P'-gen and interferes with the blue body cells of Sim Citizens and produces a healthy yellow color. Even after two years we are not aware of any side effects this drug may have apart from the water in Sim City turning to the same color sometimes', so Professor M.
